welcome – sailing at the sailing is one of the best ways to get away from it all, leaving the grind of work behind and enjoying stimulating time on the water – whether that is the relaxation of cruising, pushing yourself physically in a race, or socialising with friends and family. sailing is now easier and cheaper to get into than ever. for sailors based in and around edinburgh, who want convenience and protected waters, offers sailing less than 15 minutes drive from the city centre. the forth estuary off granton is almost exclusively used for sailing and boating, allowing us to offer a high standard of racing and cruising events. our purpose built clubhouse has showers, changing rooms, lounge and licensed bar with catering. we organise friendly cruising together and well managed racing events from casual evening races to national championships. we have an active cadets section with training for younger members and we are keen to help you build skills and confidence. our boatman will get you to your swinging mooring in granton harbour if you want to keep your boat here. our slip, winch and crane make it easy to launch and recover dinghies and boats up to 5 tonnes. charles morton, commodore enjoys a dramatic backdrop of edinburgh castle and access straight on to open water, perfect for racing and cruising. though mostly drying there is a wealth of scenic harbours for day sailing along the fife coast. members’ benefits include serviced moorings, ferry service, boat storage and a smart clubhouse with bar, meals and showers. there is a full racing
